Auli - the Snow Skiing capital of India is located 4.3 kms. off the national highway No 58. It is connected to Joshimath by Asia’s longest cable car (1906.3 mts).
Motorable road from Joshimath is at a distance of 500 mts from NH58. Long chair lift linking the lower slopes with upper slopes have also been installed for the benefit of tourists.

Economy Package - 1 (4 Days)

Day 1 Board train to Haridwar and on arrival check in at Hotel Aarti. Enjoy an evening walk on Har ki Pauri.
Day 2 Drive to Auli. Check in at GMVN Tourist Guest House. Welcome drink with light snacks will be served on arrival. Arrangements for recreational games & dinner including both veg / non veg dishes.
Day 3 Wake up call will be accompanied by tea and biscuits. After breakfast enjoy skiing.
Day 4 Drive back to Haridwar. Board Mussoorie Express to return back to Delhi.
Transportation by Indica car (4 Persons) / Qualis, Sumo (9 Persons) / Tempo Traveller (10 Persons). In case of 2 to 4 persons only then by 2x2 push back buses.
The package is inclusive of transportation, 2/3 sharing accommodation with attached toilet & all meals.

Day 1 Board train to Haridwar from Delhi Railway Sation. On arrival check in at Hotel Aarti. After lunch enjoy jungle safari at Rajaji National Park
Day 2 Drive to Auli. On arrival check in at GMVN Tourist Guest House. Welcome drink with light snacks will be served on arrival. Arrangements for recreational games, dinner including both veg / non veg.
Day 3 Wake up call will be accompanied with tea and biscuits. Rest of the day is dedicated to enjoy skiing.
Day 4 Whole day is dedicated to experience the adventure of snow-skiing.
Day 5 Drive to Kaudiala, which is reputed as rafter's paradise. On arrival, welcome drink will be served with light snacks. Arrangements will be made for beach volley ball, dinner with veg / non veg dishes. Night halt in executive huts / tents on the bank of Ganges
Day 6 Morning tea will be served with biscuits. After breakfast, leave for Shivpuri to enjoy exciting water rafting. Later drive to Haridwar. Leave for Delhi by Shatabdi Express at 6 pm.
The package is inclusive of transportation, twin sharing accommodation with attached bath & all meals (cold drinks, ice-cream, mineral water etc. not included)

These ow include the national championships in the months of February and March, organised by the Winter Games Federation Of India. While skiing is the chief attraction at Auli, there are other attraction like cable car rides and rope lifts, orspend the day outdoors building snowmen, or having snowball fights.
Facilities For Skiing At Auli From Gorson, Auli's only chair-lift travels to the base lodge, which is a
small building that marks the starting point of all the ski runs. An 800m long chair lift connects the lower slopes with upper slopes in Auli, making it easy for skiers to zip up in moments. Once eaching the ski start point they can ski down rapidly, while other can walk down the snow-paths at leisure.
From Gorson, Auli's only chair-lift travels to the base lodge, which is a small building that marks the starting point of all the ski runs. An 800m long chair lift connects the lower slopes with upper slopes in Auli, making it easy for skiers to zip up in moments. Once reaching the ski start point they can ski down rapidly, while other can walk down the snow-paths at leisure. The slopes have been dressed and improved making them an ideal for hosting skiing festivals and competitions of national and international standards. Just the cable car ride is enough to justify a trip to this winter resort, with the snow-covered valleys below giving beautiful views of the Himalayas on all sides.
On the way to Auli there are various food-outlets private as well as government run restaurants available.Tourists are advised to bring woollen lothing's, cap, socks, dark glasses, gloves, mufflers, pullovers, wind-proof jacket, gum/snow boots and a torch light in their travel kit. These accessories are a must for the tourist, keeping in mind the weather conditions of Auli, where the temperature drops to as low as - 8 degree Celsius in winters, although it is moderately cold in the summers.
Also available are the entire skiing equipments required for skiing activities, including the most modern alpine skis, Nordic skis, gloves and goggles. Skiing gear is also available on hire. Medical facilities are available Joshimath, which has well equipped hospitals and at Auli, where doctors are available 24 hours a day. However, participants are asked to bring their own first aid kit, which include a balm, footpowder and OTC medicines to take care of headaches, cols and sprains. In Auli, microwave telephones, wireless sets and walkie-talkies are available as communication.
